Surface area and volume relationships

Today I get some of what we were tought. I don't get the hypothesis thing though. I need to learn the rational expressions for the test.

Test today

I wrote the test today but I don't think I did very good on it. I studied for it last night and watched some of the videos but it didn't help. I can do some stuff with radicals but not alot.

Geometry

Today we were assigned to finish classifying shapes in a Venn diagram. I am getting good at mental math. In AM I handed in an exercise. I have a new one now so I have to get done that. Math is getting easier now that I have cought up.

Solving Rational Expressions

Today I got what we were supposed to learn. I have to do the exercises and I catching up in AM.

Adding And Subtracting Rational Expressions

Today I did not get anything we learned today. I am still going on AM though I have a big exercise i need to finish and some more exercises to do. I am going to take work over the holidays.

Yet Again More Rational Expresions

Today I m starting to get what we are trying to learn. What I don't get is the non-permissibles. I am at 40 objective in AM. I have some exercises in need to catch up on too.

More Rational Expressions

Today we tried to do some notes but the sympodium was being dumb. I kinda get the rational expressions but not all of it. Then I did some AM. I am catching up. I have a big exercise to do.

Work Period

Today we got our tests back. Didn't do to good. I am going to take the retest and the test tomorrow. After we discussed the test we had the class to do some work.

Work Class

Today we did mental math. i am finding that easier and getting better marks. Then we discussed having an optional test on Thursday. I think i might write that if i get a few more trig objectives. Then we had the rest of the class for a work period.

Rational Expressions

Today we learned some different things tat turn into weird lines on graph paper. I get the algebra part of it but not how the lines are like that on the graph.

Sines and Cosines law

Today was a learning class. We learned how to solve an non-right triangle. I get the sines law, but not really the cosines. So i am happy we do it once per problem.

Test

Today we had our Bi weekly test. I don't think I dd to bad but I know its not the greatest mark. I don't get radicals. Then after the test we did AM. 33 objectives YEAH!!

More Trig

Today was fun. I really like trig. Some of the stuff needs a refresher though but it it coming back, so that is good. I AM I am catching up. Got 30 objectives now.

Trig Intro

Today was fun. I got most of the trig stuff. I like trig but the Greek letters confused me though. I didn't get the rules though. The trig triples are fun. I liked the excel spread sheet.

Work Period

Today we had a well needed work period. Math is getting a lot easier. There are still somethings i am not getting though. But they are coming along.

Rationalizing Denominators

Today we did some more in rationalizing denominators. I get it YAY. Mental math is starting to get easier. So is AM. I am going to do some of those joke sheets too.

Today we learned some stuff I sort of got but it will take some getting used to. I am getting caught up on AM. I have some exercises to do though. I am almost done my test correcting too.

More notes

Today we learned more about radicals and simplifying them. After the notes we got a good half an hour to do some work. I really need more of them.
I am starting to get better at mental math. I am getting more math two.

Another Catch Up Class

We had another catch up class because of the Olympic Torch relay. I got lots more work done today. I am slowly but surly getting caught up.

Catch Up Class

Today we did mental math and then had a catch up class. (wish we could have more). I am far behind I need to do more than half an hour a day. I really don't get any of this graphing lines and slope or any of the graphing stuff. I am going to start coming to tutoring.

Hooray

Today we did radicals and square roots. I can actually understand and do what you should us in math. I have to go to Mrs. Larson's tutoring tonight because I don't get any of the graphing stuff so I have a lot of catching up to do.

Gota catch up

Today we did Mental Math I think i am getting better at it. I have to get a lot done because i am leaving for a couple days. I have lots of homework so that is good.

Linear Equations (Forms)

We learned today how to verify two points and their slope. I somewhat get it but i don't really know what it is supposed to do. I need to catch up on the exercises and accelerated math.

Distance Beetween two points

Today I did some accelerated math. We learned to use the pythagorean relationship to find distance. I get the fomula but not where we get X andY squared/

Factoring

Today mental math was good, got 4 out of 5. I tried homework but I didn't get it in grade 9 we did something like it but it was a little different. We did difference of square factors today and this is what we did in grade 9 math. I don't get what we learned yesterday though. After Mr. m explained it i get it now so i can get it done tonight.

Ways to Factor

Today we learned how to factor polynomials (I was writing a test for most of it though). Most of it was review from last year but some of it was new. i think it will come back after a while.
